Department of Science and Humanities (First year Engineering) organized an Induction Program for first year students. It has regular aspect and a part of first year academics. The purpose of the program is to make the students feel comfortable in their new environment, open up them, set a healthy daily routine, create bonding, develop awareness, sensitivity and understanding of the self, people around them, society and nature. Also to inculcate in them the ethos of the institution with a sense of larger purpose. Activities taken during this program are Physical activities, Universal Human Values, Creative Arts, Essay writing competition, Sketching competition, Proficiency modules, Lectures by eminent people, Visits to local area , session on Yoga etc.
