Program Educational Objectives (PEO’S)Graduates will be able to :
- PEO 1: To prepare competent graduates having strong mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals, domain knowledge, updated with modern technologies to provide the effective solutions for complex engineering problems.
- PEO 2: To prepare the graduates to work as a committed professional with strong professional ethics and values, sense of responsibilities, understanding of legal, safety, health, societal, cultural and environmental issues.
- PEO 3: To prepare committed and motivated graduates equipped with leadership and entrepreneurial responsibilities, research attitude, lifelong learning, investigative approach and multidisciplinary thinking.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO’s)
Graduates will be able to :
- PSO 1: Professional Skills- The capacity to understand, analyze, and develop computer applications in the areas of web design, operating systems, system software, algorithms, networking and big data analytics for the effective design of different computer-based systems.
- PSO 2: Problem-Solving Skills- The capacity to use flexible programming environments and standard processes in software project development to analyze real life problems and provide innovative solutions.
- PSO 3: Successful Career and Entrepreneurship- The graduate must be able to use modern technologies to create innovative career paths in entrepreneurship, higher education, and professional engagement.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at CSMSS Chh. Shahu College of Engineering in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar focuses on equipping students with the skills necessary to thrive in the fast-evolving technology field. Established in 2013, the department offers undergraduate (B. Tech) and postgraduate (M. Tech) programs. It emphasizes technical proficiency and the development of leadership, ethical standards, and a mindset for lifelong learning.
The department supports research and modern pedagogical tools like NPTEL lectures. It also has specialized laboratories for various fields, including programming, IoT, machine learning, and web development. It also maintains strong ties with the industry to provide students with placement opportunities in top IT companies.

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at CSMSS Chh. Shahu college of Engineering, Chh. Sambhajinagar, since our inception in the academic year 2013-2014, we have been committed to delivering high-quality education and shaping future professionals. Our journey began with a modest intake of 60 students in the first year, and I am proud to share that, starting from Academic Year 2024-2025, we have expanded our undergraduate intake to 180 students.
In addition to our undergraduate programs, we are also offering Postgraduate programs with an intake of 12 students, allowing us to cater to a wider range of academic pursuits and advanced learning opportunities.
At CSMSS Chh. Shahu college of Engineering, Chh. Sambhajinagar, we are dedicated to providing a vibrant academic environment, where innovation, creativity, and practical knowledge go hand in hand. Our curriculum, supported by highly experienced faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, ensures that you are well-prepared to meet the challenges of your chosen field.
